A simple clear-mind study spell
- On a Wednesday near the full moon, set a yellow candle in a sturdy holder on a heat-safe surface at your desk, with your lapis lazuli and a few dried sage leaves.
- Add one drop of cedarwood oil to the sage leaves and light the candle. Clear your desk of everything except what you need.
- Hold the lapis lazuli and write your question or study goal at the top of a page, such as "Help me understand this clearly."
- Breathe slowly for a minute, then write freely for five minutes without stopping, letting thoughts and ideas land on the page without judging them.
- Read back what you wrote and underline anything useful. Snuff the candle when you finish studying, and keep the lapis on your desk.
Tip: Sleep on any big decision for one night after this ritual before acting on it.
