Folklore

Sagittarius the Archer is drawn as a centaur aiming a bow, often linked to Chiron, the wise centaur who taught heroes and healers in Greek myth, though some writers name the satyr Crotus instead. Traditional astrology gives the sign to Jupiter, planet of growth, faith and good fortune. Its season leads up to the winter solstice. In practice, witches look to Sagittarius for luck, study, travel blessings and a hopeful view of the year ahead.
