Luck Magick, spell kit and correspondences
Inviting good fortune, lucky timing and openness to happy chances.
Luck magick is about tilting the odds gently in your favor and staying alert to opportunities when they appear. In Wiccan practice and folklore, luck charms are some of the most popular everyday magick: a lucky stone, a pocket sachet, a wish made on a candle flame. Luck spells pair well with practical openness, like saying yes to invitations and trying new routes. They also help shift your mindset, since people who expect good things tend to notice them more. Use luck work for exams, travel, new ventures or a fresh season, never to take luck from someone else.
Your luck spell kit
A simple lucky pocket charm
- On a Thursday during the waxing crescent, set a gold candle in a sturdy holder on a heat-safe surface and light it. Gather your green aventurine, a whole nutmeg, paper and pen.
- On a small square of paper, write what you would like luck for, such as "Good fortune on my exam" or "Lucky timing this month."
- Add one drop of bergamot oil to the paper, then wrap the paper around the aventurine and nutmeg like a tiny parcel. Wash your hands afterward.
- Hold the bundle near the candle's warmth, not in the flame, and say, "Good fortune finds me easily." Picture doors opening ahead of you.
- Snuff the candle and carry the charm in a bag or pocket. Keep it away from children and pets, since nutmeg is toxic if eaten.
Tip: Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight, so keep the scented paper off your skin.
