The Witch's Cabinet · Spell kit

Healing Magick, spell kit and correspondences

Supporting rest, recovery and emotional repair alongside proper medical care.

Healing magick in Wiccan practice supports the body, mind and heart as they recover, whether from illness, grief, burnout or an old wound. It is never a replacement for a doctor, therapist or prescribed treatment; think of it as tending your spirit while professionals tend the rest. Healing spells focus on rest, comfort, hope and the strength to keep going. If you are working for someone else, ask their permission first and send only gentle, supportive energy. Many witches find that the simple ritual of lighting a candle with care is itself a soothing act.

Your healing spell kit

A simple healing light spell

  1. On a Sunday near the full moon, place a blue candle in a sturdy holder on a heat-safe surface, with your clear quartz and a small dish of dried calendula petals.
  2. Add a drop of eucalyptus oil to the calendula, not to your skin, and keep it well away from pets, who are sensitive to it.
  3. Light the candle and sit comfortably. Hold the clear quartz and breathe slowly, picturing soft blue light settling over any place that aches or feels heavy.
  4. Say, "I rest, I mend, I welcome strength," three times. If working for someone else with their permission, picture them wrapped in the same light.
  5. Sit with the candle as long as feels right, then snuff it. Keep the quartz by your bed as a reminder to rest and follow your care plan.

Tip: Pair this ritual with something truly restorative afterward, like an early night or a glass of water.
