- Fresh start

History and folklore
Eucalyptus is native to Australia, where Aboriginal peoples have long valued its leaves. In the nineteenth century it spread around the world, planted in warm climates for its fast growth and fresh scent. Because its aroma is so clean and bright, eucalyptus found a natural place in modern Western magick as a herb of cleansing and recovery. Many witches keep a branch in the shower or by a sickbed, letting its fragrance mark a turning point toward feeling better.
