History and folklore
Neptune was found in 1846, located by mathematics before anyone saw it through a telescope. It is named for the Roman god of the sea. Modern astrologers tie it to dreams, imagination, compassion, spirituality and illusion, and give it rulership of Pisces alongside Jupiter. It takes about 165 years to circle the Sun. Witches turn to Neptune for dreamwork, psychic development, meditation and gentle healing.
