A simple courage bay leaf spell
- On a Tuesday near the first quarter moon, set a red candle in a sturdy holder on a heat-safe surface, with your tiger's eye and a dried bay leaf.
- Dilute a drop of frankincense oil in a little carrier oil and rub a thin film on the candle, keeping oil away from the wick, then light it.
- With a pen, write one word on the bay leaf that names the quality you want to carry, such as "Brave," "Clear" or "Steady."
- Hold the tiger's eye and the bay leaf together. Breathe deeply and remember a time you handled something hard. Say, "I have done hard things before."
- Snuff the candle when you finish. Carry the bay leaf and tiger's eye in a pocket or bag on the day you need them most.
Tip: Touch the tiger's eye in your pocket and take one slow breath right before you walk into the room.
